Ben Feldman’s Team

As a wealth management advisor with Northwestern Mutual, Benjamin specializes in developing comprehensive financial solutions for his clients. Park Avenue Capital Planning embraces a holistic approach including estate planning, retirement planning, life, and disability insurance planning as well as long-term care planning. He has been advising his clients since 2003.

Benjamin believes that it is only through listening closely that he can build a relationship and work with his future and current clients to create a plan to meet their needs and achieves their dreams.

In turn, Benjamin works with the team to design plans to ensure that every clients' goals and objectives are met so that they can enjoy their life now and ensure financial security in the future.

Park Avenue Capital Planning’s goal is to enable clients to realize their goals and dreams and address their concerns about retirement and under-capitalization.

Benjamin holds his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Lehigh University where he majored in Finance and Marketing. Benjamin has been involved with the Lehigh Wall Street Council, a close-knit collection of Lehigh alumni, working within the financial sector, this cohort have crafted dynamic careers within the corridors of Manhattan.

Understanding his clients’ situations by helping them identify their needs, educating them, offering possible solutions, respecting their assets, monitoring their progress and keeping in touch is his mission.

Zachary began his career in financial services in 2008 as a financial representative. In 2010, Zachary joined Ben Feldman’s team as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor and COO of the firm. In his role, Zachary is focused on the executing the firm’s vision in areas of development and strategy, ultimately resulting in each client receiving an optimal level of service.

As a registered representative with Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company, Zachary maintains his Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses.

A graduate from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University in 2008, Zachary holds degrees in Marketing and Finance. When he is not working, Zachary enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie and daughters Harley & Layla.

Maja is the Director of Operations for Park Avenue Capital Planning. She is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service while supporting clients from the application process through the completed implementation of their insurance planning. Maja started at Park Avenue Capital Planning in 2015.

Maja received her undergraduate degree from Banja Luka College of Communications in her home country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Outside of work, Maja enjoys reading, traveling and photography. She also volunteers with World Vision International and sponsors several children in developing countries.

Justine is the Office Manager for Park Avenue Capital Planning. She joined the team in 2016 and is responsible for client service, scheduling and operations management. She prides herself on delivering exceptional client service and is results driven with every interaction.

Justine holds a B.A. from the CUNY College of Staten Island. She was born and raised in New York and currently lives on Staten Island with her husband Eric. Justine enjoys spending weekends with her family, especially her son as well as her four nephews.

Weston Hatfield is the Director of Investment Operations for Park Avenue Capital Planning. He oversees all brokerage account opening, maintenance, and execution for our team. Weston has worked in the wealth management industry since his arrival to New York City in 2014. Weston joined PACP in 2017 and holds Series 7 and 66 licenses with Northwestern Mutual Investment Services. Prior to pursuing a career in wealth management, he worked as a commodity futures trader for a hedge fund in his home country of Bermuda.

Weston lives with his fiance on the upper east side of Manhattan. He enjoys playing tennis, squash, running and fishing.

Melissa Garcia has been with Northwestern Mutual for 20 years.   Melissa assists clients with the underwriting process through post approval policy servicing, and she is always ready to help with the needs of our clients.

Melissa lives in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys baking, spending time with friends and family, and going on road trips.

Tyler began his career in financial services in 2017 and joined Park Avenue Capital Planning in 2020. As a Client Service Manager, Tyler focuses on case preparation and workflow of sales and client service. He prides himself on ensuring that each client receives exceptional service. Tyler holds his Series 6 and 63 licenses.

A graduate from the University of Connecticut, Tyler holds degrees in Communication and Business Fundamentals. Outside of work, Tyler enjoys playing golf, traveling and spending time with his friends, family and girlfriend, Sarah.

Joseph graduated from Manhattan College in 2017 with his bachelor’s in Finance and has worked in the Wealth Management industry since. Joseph joined PAC in 2022 and holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses with Northwestern Mutual Investment Services. Prior to joining PAC Joseph had served as a Client Service Associate for individual advisors at other financial services institutions. Joseph has extensive experience in the retirement industry, servicing both individual clients and institutional 401(k) plans.  Joseph lives in White Plains, New York. He enjoys the gym, reading, hanging out with friends and family and the beach.

Stephen began his career in finance in 2008. He is a Lead Research Analyst with Park Avenue Capital Planning, maintaining securities Series 7 and 66 registrations. Stephen earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2015 and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional  certification in 2017. Prior to joining the firm Stephen worked in Institutional Sales at Sidoti & Company where he covered hedge funds and mutual funds in Boston and New York City, and he has experience working in private wealth management from his time at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

Stephen grew up in Pelham, New York. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and minor in Economics. He resides in Manhattan. 

Andrew joined our team in 2014. His primary role is focused on the creation and management of financial plans for prospective and active clients.Andrew is an Associate Wealth Management Advisor with Park Avenue Capital Planning. He is a Registered Representative of Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC maintaining securities Series 7 and 63 registrations.

Andrew’s responsibilities included a wide range of activities related to IT, operations and human resources. In all three areas, Andrew was instrumental in creating new systems and process efficiencies.

Andrew has spent most of the prior 6 years living abroad in different countries including China, Russia, the UK and Syria. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science and from the London School of Economics with a Master of Science in International Relations. Andrew currently lives in New Rochelle, NY with his wife, Batma.

Song started his career in finance in 2015 and joined our team in 2019 as Research Analyst, responsible for investment analysis and research. Song previously held several roles at other companies, including securities consultant, M&A analyst and risk analyst which provided him in-depth analytical experience of diverse investment practices across United States and China.

Song grew up in Beijing, China. A graduate of Brandeis University, he majored in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence and earned a Master of Science degree in Finance.

Song currently resides in Jersey City, NJ. He loves travelling, outdoor sports and films.

Colin began his career in 1998 as a proprietary equity trader specializing in short-term trading strategies. After several successful years with two firms, Colin traded his personal capital while developing a short-term discretionary strategy for trading futures. He incorporated technical analysis, momentum, trend-following, and market microstructure. He later used this strategy as the basis for his Commodity Trading Advisor which traded equity, financial, FX, energy, metal, and grain futures for proprietary and client accounts.

Colin joined our team in May 2022 as a research analyst, responsible for investment analysis, research, and trading. He has completed his CFA Level 1 studies. Prior to joining Pioneer, Colin took a career break to raise his two sons.

Colin grew up in Tifton, GA. He graduated with honors from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, where he earned a bachelor’s in Human Evolutionary Biology. While there, he balanced his time between academics and athletics, conducting laboratory research on testosterone and cortisol and playing defensive end on the football team. Colin spent his time in Cambridge as a biology course assistant, Senior Counselor with Phillips Brookes House Association’s Franklin I-O, and volunteering with PBHA’s Franklin Afterschool Enrichment.

Colin lives in Caldwell, NJ, with his wife Johanna, two sons Harper and Quinn, their Shiba Inu, Sora Koi, and three cats, Bob Whiskey, Cookie, and Ginger Licorice. Most of his time outside work is spent with his family, cheering on the boys’ sports teams, maintaining his yard, and renovating his ninety-six-year-old house.
