Most have advanced degrees, and all are working towards professional designations in an effort to better understand and serve clients. Peter grew up in Montclair, New Jersey. He graduated from Cornell University in 2002 having earned an undergraduate degree in Finance and began building his wealth management practice straight from school. He is a member of Northwestern Mutual’s Forum, the mark of a top advisor nationally. He is a multi-year Forbes Top Financial Security Professional and a Forbes Best in State Advisor (New York). He is a golf fanatic, an avid food and wine lover, and has traveled much of the world. Peter reconnected with his college sweetheart, Christy, and the two were married in December of 2013. They reside in Montclair with their children, Dessa, Ernie, Susana, and Selene. Read more about their recent move from Manhattan to the suburb here.

Professional Designations
Peter Tiboris has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP ®) designations through The American College.
Peter also received his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, Master of Business Administration from Fordham University, and Master of Science in Financial Services from The American College.
The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification is one of the most recognized financial planning marks in the world. CFP® certification identifies to the public those individuals who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The CFP® certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.
The Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation focuses on the comprehensive financial planning process as an organized way to collect and analyze information on a client's total financial situation; to identify and establish specific financial goals; and to formulate, implement, and monitor a comprehensive plan to achieve those goals. The ChFC program provides financial services professionals with in-depth knowledge of the skills needed to perform comprehensive financial planning for their clients.
The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential for life insurance professionals. Since 1927, more than 94,000 individuals have earned their CLU, helping them build a successful life insurance practice by providing clients with knowledgeable and ethical advice. For financial representatives, field management, home office personnel, and others involved in providing life insurance products to the public, the CLU designation symbolizes continuing growth and commitment to professionalism.
The Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) degree is designed explicitly for financial services professionals seeking advanced financial services education. The program emphasizes analysis, planning, and implementation of strategies for individuals, families and businesses to protect, conserve, and distribute financial assets and / or economic human life values. The program further emphasizes the role of the financial services professional in synthesizing financial resources, needs, objectives, and appropriate alternative plans for achieving the economic ends desired.
The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation is designed to assist anyone who is likely to advise clients and prospective donors about long-term planning for financial assets including attorneys, CPAs, development officers, planned giving officers, financial planners/wealth advisors, insurance professionals, brokers, investment advisors, trust officers, private bankers.

Richard A. Goldman was with Northwestern Mutual for 23 years before he was recruited away to become President of Home Life Insurance Company of New York, managing it through a financial crisis in the early 1990's up to its merger with Phoenix Mutual. Dick's experience with Northwestern Mutual included very successful personal client work, General Agent (Managing Partner) for the Philadelphia region and the Delaware Valley, and a company officer in Milwaukee working on key product pricing issues in the high interest years of the early eighties.
Dick subsequently accepted a role as a senior consultant at Tillinghast - Towers Perrin, the largest insurance actuarial and consulting firm in the world at that time. Dick had as clients some of the largest life insurance companies in the world including Prudential, Met Life, The New England, Northwestern Mutual, Mass Mutual and Sun Life of Canada.
Dick subsequently worked at Deutsche Bank heading the Financial Institutions Group for Deutsche Asset Management leading relationships with many investment firms and insurance companies including Fidelity, Federated Funds, ManuLife (now John Hancock in the U.S.), American Skandia, Prudential, Mass Mutual, and Merrill Lynch. Later he became the Chief Operating Officer of ProFunds Advisors LLC, a mid-sized mutual fund company.
This experience makes Dick unique in this industry with both deep product knowledge and experience as well as a perspective that comes with working through multiple economic cycles. Dick has worked with many wealthy families and their privately owned businesses on wealth transfer, executive compensation in public and private companies, banks, and hundreds of individuals.
Dick is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and received his Masters of Science in Financial Services from The American College. Dick also earned his CFP®, CLU® (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant), and CLTC® (Certified in Long Term Care) designations.

David grew up in the Boston suburbs and graduated from Columbia University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He began his association with Northwestern Mutual as a college intern in 1978 and has held numerous management positions, in addition to his role as a Wealth Management Advisor. He has earned company recognition as a leader in the development of virtually hundreds of financial advisors and is one of the Top 100 producers in the history of NM. He has been a member of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors for nearly 40 years and is a Lifetime Member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table with over 35 years of qualification.
David lives in Westchester County with his wife, Pat, and they have two daughters, Lindsay and Carly, and a granddaughter, Annabelle. He is an avid tennis player and gym enthusiast, and when he isn’t spending time with his family, he enjoys following the Boston sports teams.

CLTC® stands for "Certified in Long-Term Care," a designation granted by the Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification. CLTC® graduates have completed a rigorous multidisciplinary course that focuses on the profession of long-term care. The program is recognized by state regulators, through the granting of continuing education credits, as having provided essential information necessary to the appropriate sale of long-term care insurance.

Michael has been with Northwestern Mutual since 2011 and joined our team in 2013. Michael is an Associate Financial Representative, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and maintains his Series 6, 63, and 7 registrations along with his Life, Accident & Health Insurance license.
Michael works with clients on a wide range of planning areas, designing customized strategies to help clients realize their financial goals.
Michael grew up on Long Island, NY. He graduated from Penn State University where he earned an undergraduate degree in Finance, with a minor in International Business.
He resides in Huntington, NY with his wife, Joanna, their daughter, Sofia, and Labrador retriever, Parker.

Chief Experience Officer and Vice President of Operations
Breandan joined our team in 2019. In his role as Chief Experience Office and VP of Operations he oversees day to day activities across all aspects of the business and is charged with using his extensive background in world-class hotels to transform the experience of anyone that touches our firm. He also brings unique perspective being a client since 2012.
A seasoned hospitality executive with over 20 years in the luxury hotel industry, Breandan joined us from The Iroquois Hotel New York, where he held the position of General Manager for almost four years. During his time at The Iroquois, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, he provided leadership and strategic planning while overseeing a full property renovation, and continuing to drive service and guest experience across all areas of the hotel. He was instrumental in the hotel achieving their AAA 4 Diamond status for the first time ever in 2017 and to The Iroquois Hotel being ranked #6 in New York City by the readers of Travel and Leisure Magazine in 2018’s “World’s Best Hotels Awards”.
Previously, Breandan was at W Hoboken Hotel, where he served as Director of Operations and Interim General Manager, The St. Regis New York, where he spent over 15 years in various senior leadership roles, and The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, Ireland, where his hotel career began.
Originally from Ireland, Breandan graduated with a Hotel and Catering Management Higher Diploma from the Dublin Institute of Technology, and Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from the University of Dublin, Trinity College. He is an avid soccer fan and currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife Esther, and young daughter, Saoirse.
Chris joined our team as the Director of Portfolio Research and Advisory. Previously, he spent 9 years as the Director of Private Client Services at the Northwestern Mutual home office located in Milwaukee, WI. During his tenure, Chris’ team supported the significant growth of the Private Client Service (PCS) program from $350 million in assets under management (AUM) to over $3.5 billion. Chris served as team leader for a portfolio management and client service team responsible for day-to-day investment operations. He also traveled extensively meeting with advisors and their clients to present PCS investment solutions.
Chris has now spent much of his career in portfolio management. During this time, Chris has developed and led teams in portfolio construction, strategic asset allocation, and the ability to create a portfolio based on client’s specific investment objectives.
Prior to Northwestern Mutual, Chris worked for 8 years at Atlantic Trust, a wealth management firm, and worked for a Member of Congress on Capitol Hill, focusing on Finance and International Relations legislative agendas. Chris has a degree from Denison University and a Master’s degree from Boston University. In his free time, Chris coaches Lacrosse, shuffles his four children around to various activities, and when he can, enjoys a good history book.

Fred joined our team as an Lead Research Analyst where his responsibilities include working alongside Chris Bremer with research, portfolio construction, security selection and monitoring, and will sit on our Investment Committee.
Prior to Northwestern mutual, Fred worked for five years at New York Life as an investment consultant and was responsible for providing customized wealth management solutions to advisors and high net worth clients. Fred is a graduate of Bates College where he earned a BA in Economics and was a two time All-American lacrosse player.
He currently lives in Manhattan and outside of work enjoys staying active through hiking, skiing and trying to extend his lacrosse career.

Randon is charged with working with clients within the financial planning continuum – cash flow planning, retirement optimization strategies, business owner succession solutions, estate planning, and advanced life insurance strategies. Randon is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds his Life, Accident and Health Insurance license.
He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Accountancy, both from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College in New York City.
Immediately prior to joining our team, Randon was a Director at Orion Advisor Solutions. Randon has also worked at two of the largest global public accounting firms in their financial services and high net worth tax practices, and was an advisor and portfolio manager at a New York City based registered investment advisor with over $4 billion under management.
Randon lives in Jersey City, New Jersey with his wife, Ilene and their daughter, Daniela.
Outside of work, Randon enjoys spending time “down the shore”, reading, cooking, and rooting for the Yankees, Knicks, and Jets.

Anthony is responsible for planning analysis, investment operations, and compliance and has worked with Peter since 2007.
He received his degree from James Madison University with a concentration in Finance. Anthony later earned his Master's of Science in Accounting and passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam. Anthony is an Associate Wealth Management Advisor maintaining securities Series 6, 63, and 7 registrations along with his Life, Accident & Health Insurance license.
Anthony currently lives in Scotch Plains, NJ with his wife Amy and son Ludwig. Outside of work, he enjoys a round of golf whenever possible.

Jessica Willis is the Associate Director of Insurance and Investment Operations for Peter Tiboris, bringing over fifteen years of experience to her role. Jessica is responsible for all aspects related to insurance, from assisting clients with the onboarding process to application processing and all the way through the day to day post approval service needs of our clients. She is also responsible for client services and will handle many day to day service requests from our clients with their investment accounts as well. Jessica takes great pride in providing our clients with exceptional service and looks forward to serving you!
Before joining our team Jessica worked as an internal wholesaler at both Prudential Investments covering mutual funds and Jackson National Life Insurance covering both fixed and variable annuities. Jessica graduated from University of Arizona with a BA in Psychology and maintains securities Series 6 and 63 registrations and holds her Life, Accident & Health Insurance licenses.
Jessica is currently a resident of Pennsylvania where she lives with her husband Morgan and their two daughters Harper and Finley. Jessica is a certified CrossFit Level 1 instructor and avid CrossFit athlete. A native Coloradoan, Jessica enjoys spending time in the outdoors doing such activities as skiing, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and fly fishing.

Dan holds degrees in both Finance and Marketing from The University of South Carolina. Before graduating in 2017, Dan was a member of Tau Sigma National Honor Society. He spent his summers as a student working for wealth management groups including Pzena Investment Management and Centaurus Financial. Dan currently maintains securities series 7 registration and has completed his series 63.
Dan loves to fish, play basketball and racquetball, as well as lift weights. He is a devoted South Carolina football fan and is a proud season ticket holder. Dan also roots for the New York Yankees and Jets.

Christina Ryan is the Director of Operations and Client Service for Richard Goldman. She assists Richard’s clients with all insurance and investment matters, as well as handling all aspects of his day to day practice. Prior to joining the Northwestern Mutual family, Christina gained a great understanding of the importance of a trustworthy relationship with clients due to her background as a patient coordinator.
Christina is a resident of Central New Jersey where she lives with her husband Jamie and their daughter Eleanor. She enjoys spending time at the beach with her family and traveling to new places when they get the chance. To relax she enjoys reading and practicing yoga.

Melissa Garcia has been with Northwestern Mutual for 20 years, and the majority of that time she has been an Associate Financial Representative and Director of Operations with David Hachey. Melissa assists clients with the underwriting process through post approval policy servicing, and she is always ready to help with the needs of our clients.
Melissa lives in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys baking, spending time with friends and family, and going on road trips.
